Dear Debtor Attorneys:
Please find attached the Clerk’s Notice concerning General Order 2016-01, General Order 2016-01 and the Revised Chapter 13 Plan which coordinates with General Order 2016-01. It is the Trustee’s understanding that software providers have started making changes pursuant to General Order 2016-01. If your office uses software other than Legal Pro, please let us know who they are so that we can work with them directly to see that the new or revised forms are updated for your use.
Please also note that we are in the process of creating a revised Authorization for Pre-Confirmation Disbursements (APD) form. This form will be specifically tied to cases filed in the divisions which this office manages and processes. We will be working with the software vendors to make sure that this APD form is included and update for your use.
It is the Trustee’s understanding that General Order 2016-01 applies to all existing cases and the treatment of mortgage arrears will be governed by the provisions of General Order 2016-01.
We are currently working on webinars to be held in the month of September 2016 to help explain the changes brought about by General Order 2016-01.
