Beginning 5/18/2010 we will begin to file Notices of Intent to Disburse Excess Tax Refund to Creditors and Raise Debtor’s Plan Base. This notice will be filed in cases where a tax refund is received by the Trustee in an amount greater than $2000. This notice will include a 21 day objection period and will be served upon the debtors, debtor attorney and creditors who have filed a notice of appearance.
Please note that we are continuing to follow the procedure set out in General Order 2009-03. The only difference is that this notice will be filed in addition to what we were doing in the past.
